Ken Stock is a visionary and results-focused executive with over two decades of energy and utility experience. With expertise in the realm of power generation, attention to detail, exceptional cross-functional background, and his innovative approach, Stock compliments NG Advantage’s leadership team. As Chief Operating Officer, Stock is accountable for guiding the Company’s operations team and plays a vital role in the fulfillment of the Company’s strategic vision.
Before joining NG Advantage in 2018, Stock had more than 20 years of engineering, operations, and leadership experience where he held positions of increasing responsibility. Stock most recently held the position of President at Trees LLC where he oversaw the Company’s operations. Prior to his tenure at Trees LLC, Stock served as Vice President of Kenergy for six years and as Chief Operating Officer with Affinity Wind.
Earlier, Stock held the position of Project Manager with Dynegy and was the Public Utilities Manager for the City of Geneseo, Illinois. In this role, he effectively completed several major projects and at the time, authored and received the State’s largest clean renewable energy grant.
Stock earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Indiana State University and a Master of Business Administration from Missouri State University. He also obtained certificates in Environmental Studies and Wastewater Operations from Southern Illinois University and Advanced Business Studies from Rice University. In addition, Stock received a diploma from the US Army Corps of Engineers Department of Public Works for the successful completion of its Power Engineer Program.
